Founded in 2007 at my dining table in a small home on the south side of Chicago, I had a dream (literally) and a vision – to own a company that told stories – original stories for television and digital platforms. As a child, I grew up in a house with a mother who was an educator, storyteller and advocate for educating the African girl child. It was inevitable that I would grow up with a strong desire to share and tell stories of people who have broken through the glass ceiling and taking names while they’re at it. The journey from then to now for EJP hasn’t been an easy one but I cherish every single stumble and fall. The lessons learned upon my rise have become priceless blocks of strength as I’ve persevered and endured through it all and never once gave up or stopped creating or shining. What you see today is a beautiful testimony of tenacity, deeply rooted in the BELIEF that the universe does indeed love us and will always take care of its own.
I am PROUD to introduce and welcome you to Emerald Jane Productions, Inc.

She also produced a TV special for WBBM-CBS as well as a few specials for online platforms.
In 2011, a new opportunity and challenge came calling, landing Emerald-Jane at WLS-ABC 7 Chicago where she joined the launch team for the only local live talk show, Windy City LIVE, which took over the highly coveted time slot owned for 25 years by The Oprah Winfrey Show. There, she served as one of the show’s Producers and its lead Guest Booker. For the four and a half years, Windy City LIVE became the go-to for locals and celebrities alike.
In August 2015, EJ spent 5 months with a local Chicago PR firm to support more than 40 clients within the consumer, corporate, nonprofit, education and hospitality sectors, working with account teams, helping them focus on the art of pitching – how to tell a story to print, broadcast and online media in a compelling and strategic way.
In the short few months, she landed media hits on Good Morning America, LIVE with Kelly and countless other local media. EJ finally decided to return full-time to EJP, Inc. to focus on her heart’s calling – producing shows, booking celebrities and consulting on projects to help others fulfill their dreams.
